A brief overview of some of SADD's campaigns and activities.
Drunk Driving Simulator
- Health students (and SADD members) are given the opportunity to drive a golf cart using "drunk" goggles that allow them to understand the dangers of drinking and driving.
Guardian Angel
- A Guardian Angel saves students' lives throughout the day to represent the lives that could be saved by safe driving practices.
The Hat Project
- Hats are placed around the high school to raise awareness of mental illness and remind students that they are not alone.
The Bracelet Project
- Bracelets featuring the Crisis Textline Number (please see the Resources tab) are passed out to students to raise awareness of this important resources.
Stress Week
- Typically held during Midterms or before Finals, Stress Week raises awareness of coping mechanisms and provides an opportunity for students to destress.
